Point Reyes from Chimney Rock (2014)

Orchestra

An orchestral tone poem inspired by the coastal landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area where I was born and raised, this piece takes its title from a woodblock print by contemporary artist Tom Killion. Learn more about Point Reyes from Chimney Rock on my blog.

Commissioned by the NYU Symphony. Premiered by the NYU Symphony with David Rosenmeyer, conductor, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, New York NY. 3/03/14.
