The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse<\/strong> Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> presents the World Premiere of\u00a0The Sphinx and the Milky Way<\/em><\/strong>, my tone poem for orchestra\u00a0inspired by the visionary artworks of\u00a0Charles E. Burchfield<\/strong>. (Pictured: Burchfield’s eponymous painting of a sphinx moth!)<\/p>\n
